Our mission at Gopal Gaushala is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for cows and bulls, promoting their well-being and advocating their rights. We are dedicated to create awareness about the importance of cow welfare in our community. Through our compassionate
care, education initiatives, and community outreach programs, we aim to foster a harmonious relationship between humans and cows.
Our Work
Cow Shelter and Care: Provide a safe and secure shelter for the cows.
Education and Awareness: Conduct educational programs about the importance of cow welfare and dispelling myths and misconceptions.
Community Outreach: Engage with local community through events, seminars, and
campaigns and encourage community involvement in cow welfare activities.
Sustainable Agriculture: Create and sell products such as organic fruits, vegetables, organic fertilizer and medicinal herbs.

Meet Our Cows/ Bulls

Shiv
He’s a funny one, never learned to drink milk from mom so we had to bottle feed him. Growing up to be one strong bull.

Laxmi
The naughtiest of the cows who doesn’t like cuddles. As long as she gets treat she will let you come close.

Sakhi
Our adorable Sakhi loves everyone she meets. She is our official
puja cow and loves attention. Her mom is Sharda who’s another
sweetheart. -
Vrinda
Vrinda is a very shy cow and keeps to herself similar to her mom Radha.

Luv
Luv is a very adorable bull and he loves people. His mother’s name is Sita. He’s our first born in 2023.

Gopi
This is our oldest cow and she loves to eat just about anything. Her
favorite is oatmeal with jaggery. She has given birth to 4 bulls since
arriving at our farm.She is very territorial so watch out. -
Mano
Our first breeding bull. He’s travelled all over to expand his
family, from Texas to British Columbia. He looks intimidating but is a gentle giant. He doesn’t like the rain, runs for shelter. -
Sharda
Our sweetheart, she will lick you unconditionally. She is Gopi’s
sister and is adored by everyone who meets her. She is a very picky
eater and doesn’t like trying new foods. -
Sita
Meet Sita, Sharda’s first daughter. She is very sweet just like her
mother. She’s very friendly with guests and loves to eat Jaggery. -
Devaki
She’s the boss of the herd and takes her time to get used to new
people. She’s a bit of an introvert. She will not eat from anyone’s hand
even if it’s her favorite food. -
Madhav
Meet Madhav, Gopi’s son. He is super stubborn and use to hide behind his mom and wouldn’t let us cuddle with him. He’s grown up now and is a sweet bull.

Giriraj
One word to describe him “Prince”. He is just simply handsome and he
knows it. Gopi’s son also but more attached to us. He loves to eat
jaggery and but won’t eat anything that’s orange, very difficult to feed
him vegetables -
Gopal
He’s our sweetest boy on the farm. He’s so patient and kind to other bulls and humans. Favorite food is jaggery and apples.

Subal
Meet Subal, the most clingiest of all our herd. He will eat just about anything from your hand and will follow you around like a baby.
Looks scary but is really sweet. -
Meera
Meet Meera, she’s a very funny cow. Always entertaining everyone and loves being scratched on her neck. Her daughter is Malti and she’s a wonderful mother.

Malti
Malti is an absolute beauty!! She loves to eat hay and bananas. Malti
can be very bossy also so we have to keep a close eye on her, but an
absolute delight to be around.
